camenbert cheese
By Ally Wied
Camembert cheese ! Ah, another French cheese made of cow milk. Put in on the baguette to add a buttery taste and melt in on microwave, next you will have a yummy snack!
Camembert cheese gives slight ammoniated odor when it's ripe and already to eat, you can smell the odor when you open its wrap. The buttery flavor was got from richening the milk by adding cream during production. Ripe Camembert cheese also gives taste of mushroom (a kind of) and slightly bitter after taste.
Eat Camembert cheese after it's been exposed on room temperature. When you want to melt it, use a grease proof paper (to avoid the hard cleaning process) and do it quick (with medium/high heat). You can also eat camembert with or without its white skin. Anything you like. Some says it';s bitter so the white skin must be moved off but some says it's better to eat Camembert with the skin.
Suggestion for Camembert pairings:
~Fruits like grape, berries and melon.
~French champagne or red wine like Bordeaux
~Dry apple brandy like Calvados
Easy Camembert cooking (not taking too long in process-I mean):
~You will need Camembert cheese, 1 beaten egg, bread crumbs and deep frying oil.
~Cut Camembert cheese into quarters, coat with egg then coat with bread crumbs.
~Fry the coated camembert in hot oil until golden color.
Have a happy camembert eating! I hope you like it as much as I do!
